Bullas Wine
The Bullas denomination of origin encompasses all the wines produced in the municipalities of Bullas, Caravaca de la Cruz, Cehegín, Lorca, Moratalla and Mula, west of the province of Murcia.
The red wine varieties of the Bullas DO include Monastrell /the most important one), Tempranillo, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Syrah and Grenache.
The white wine varieties grown in the Bullas DO are Airén and Macabeo. Most of the production is rosé and red wines, with characteristics that are very similar to those of Yecla, but slightly more nervous.
